Using Syllo

Syllo is an AI-assisted academic tool for university students. By creating an account, you agree to use the service honestly and only for lawful academic purposes. You must be at least 16 years old to use Syllo.

Your content

You own everything you upload — your PDFs, notes, and course material. By uploading it, you give us permission to process it in order to provide the service (for example, to answer your questions using that material). We do not claim ownership of your content.

Please only upload material you have the right to use. Do not upload content that is confidential to others or that you are not permitted to share.

AI limitations

Syllo uses AI to help you study, but AI can make mistakes. Do not rely solely on Syllo for critical academic decisions. Always verify important information from your official course materials, textbooks, or instructors. Syllo is a study aid, not a substitute for your own understanding.

Trial and billing

New accounts get 7 days of full access at no charge. No payment information is required to start. If you choose to continue after the trial, you will be charged $9.99/month. If you do nothing, your account pauses — we will not charge you without your explicit agreement. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

Fair use

To keep the service fair for all users, we may apply reasonable limits on the number of AI requests, uploaded files, or storage per account. We will communicate any limits clearly and in advance.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. If we do, we will tell you why and give you a chance to address it unless the violation is serious.

Disclaimer

Syllo is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be available at all times or free of errors. We are not liable for any academic consequences resulting from your use of the service.
